This wonderful cream has a mild calendula scent and is suitable for the face or the body. Where other hand made creams may feel a bit heavy and greasy upon application, this one feels nice and light with no residual greasy feeling. Most people comment that they don’t need to use much either.
Storage:
Because this is an all natural cream we recommend you keep the large (120 ml) jar in the fridge and just fill (using a clean utensil) a small jar to carry with you. The 15 ml Calendula Cream is perfect for this purpose. Many people like to buy both sizes to start so that they have the carrying jar and the storage jar.
History regarding Calendula:
Traditionally calendula flowers have been used as a topical anti-inflammatory, to promote wound healing, and to prevent infection, among other uses. They also have a reputation as an antioxidant.
