History
Cardamom is the fruit of a plant related to ginger. It is one of the worlds most expensive spices.
Traditional Use
Often used in the making of coffee or tea in the Middle East, as well as for cooking. It is frequently an ingredient in Chai.
Some people prefer to use just the seeds, but the pods keep better. You can remove the seeds as needed or crush the pods before adding them to foods and beverages.
