Gardener’s Soap

This lovely green Gardener’s soap is a favourite for gardeners and mechanics. The colour, which varies from batch to batch, comes from the French Green Clay that is used to make it. A small amount of pumice in the soap makes it great for scrubbing without being harsh.

This was another one of those serendipitous recipes. We discovered that the Camellia oil made a great soap for cleaning things that other soaps didn’t, but when we added the French Green Clay and a little pumice it worked even better, and the other ingredients give it a good lather.

Saponified Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Camellia Oil, Castor Oil, French Green Clay, Pumice
